ABOUT ROMOPHOS

Who We Are, What We Do, and Why We Do It

Romophos is a sophomore class honorary founded in 1932 at The Ohio State University. We get our name from a backward spelling of sophomore, with a little creative rearranging. Each new class of Romophos takes on a fundraising project for a charity selected each year. Although past events have included a Battle of the Bands and Music Festival, each class gets to define for themselves what Romophos is and will be. We are the 84th Class, and we are hosting a Music Festival at the Newport Music Hall on March 23rd, 2017 in order to raise funds for OSU Star House. We seek to engage in continued, active service with both the Ohio State campus and Columbus communities in order to make a tangible, positive difference in the lives of others.
